A similar decision was made by the Punjab government under the newly appointed CM, Bhagwant Mann. The Punjab government, also under AAP, has banned private schools from raising fees and forcing parents to purchase school items for particular stores.
“The Recognized Unaided Private Schools in Delhi are run either by corporations or trusts as a charitable organization on a no-profit-no-loss basis, hence no school activity shall have a scope of profit and commercialization,” add the review. Strict action will be taken against schools found to be in violation of issued orders.
